Banquette Inspo

Banquette space is 5’7″ x 8′, with a 3’9″ window to account for on the long end (Sketchup models below). Found some references below of mid-century style banquettes that I think would complement the space. I plan to work from this spot regularly so I like the thought of this as a coffe-shop-like setup, would probably get a slim cushion made for the seat, and some kind of angled back would be important for sitting comfortably for a couple hours at a stretch.

Seems like optimal height of seat (including any cushion) is about 17″-18″. Seat depth around 18-20″, backrest height angled and about 17″ max height (but could be shorter).

For the table, found this ~1930-50s Hamilton architcect’s oak drafting table that could be repurposed after refininshing for either the island (with a butcher-block top replacecment) or as the banquette dining table, but replacing the top with a different, longer tabletop.
